Technoxian 2023 is a mega event that showcases the latest innovations and trends in robotics and emerging technologies. It will host the Technoxian World Robotics Championship 7.0 and the Technoxian World Cup 2023, where teams from around the world will compete in various categories of robotics. The event will also feature keynote speakers, workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. The event will take place from July 25th to 27th at the Indoor Stadium in Noida, Delhi

The theme of Robocon 2022 : Lagori is a traditional and one of the most played ancient games that originate in the southern part of India. It was one of the most popular game in India around the 1990s. One can find the game history in Bhagavata Purana, a Hindu religious text written around 5000 years ago. It mentions that Lord Krishna played this game with his friends. The game is between two teams (Team 1: “Seeker” and Team 2: “Hitter”) and the game starts by throwing a ball by the seeker to break a stone tower called “Lagori” . While the seekers try to pile up the stones again, the hitter throws balls to interrupt them.

Robocon 2021 is the 20th anniversary of the ABU Robocon contest. The theme of the contest is “Throwing Arrows”, based on an ancient Chinese game12. The contest was hosted by China on December 12, 2021

Robocon 2020 is an international robotic competition organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU). The theme of the contest is “ROBO RUGBY 7s”, where two robots collaborate to play rugby 7’s game against five obstacles

ABU Robocon 2019's theme was the most challenging part of our journey. Mongolia, the host country had released the theme and it was for the first time that we had to create a robot without using any wheels for locomotion. The theme necessitated the development of a quadruped robot that would walk like a horse. The same year we secured 7th rank in the national competition held in Delhi and also won the 1st rank in MATLAB Simulink competition. Currently, our team consists of 26 members, who work continuously to achieve rank 1 in the 2020 national DD Robocon competition

For ABU Robocon 2018, the theme released by international host Vietnam was 'Nem Con: The Festival Wishing Happiness and Prosperity'. According to this problem statement, each team was supposed to fabricate 2 robots that is 1 manual and other automatic. The manual bot was given the task to pick up the shuttlecocks or the rack carrying shuttlecock and hand it over to the automatic bot which was given task to throw that shuttlecock holding it on the keeping point 250mm away from the spherical shape on the tail through two 800mm diameter rings from three different throwing zones.
Innovations that were brought about in robot model this year:
• Use of belt drive for motion transmission in high torque high rpm chassis motors
• Use of disc brake to stop the arm at required position and economical pneumatic gripper.
• Use of Microsoft Kinect V2.0 for depth image processing.
• Use of MATLAB for design and simulation of both robots.
The team from GECA, entering its 8th year of formation was given tagline-‘Keep it Simple’. With a new tagline and the old expertise and enthusiasm, the team this year consisted of: Utkarsh Dange (Team Captain), Prayush Kale (Team Vice Captain), Tanmay Chaudhari, Utkarsh Kolte, Vishakha Kate, Abhishek Sakharkar, Pratiksha Hivarekar, Swapnil Pimple, Pritamkumar Anap, Saurabh Satpute, Archit Wadalkar, Rushabh Solanki, Nilesh Abhang, Vaibhav Jadhav, Priti Songade, Sangharsh Bhawar, Angha Deo, Aniket Murtadak, Mrunali Deshpande, Anshul Pandey, Malhar Garje, Aishwarya Balkhande and Snehashish Saha.
The National Contest was held from 1st March to 3rd March, 2018 at Balewadi Stadium, Pune. The team won both its initial matches in league stage with IIT Patna and VSSUT Burla and qualified for super league standing 7th in league stage. In super league, the team achieved ‘Rong bay’ in both the games and secured position in top 15. Also the team won prestigious MATHWORKS 1st runner up award with Rs 25k because admirable usage of MATLAB in stimulation.

For ABU Robocon 2017, the theme released by international host Japan was 'Asobi: The Landing Disc'. In this problem statement, the robot is to place polyurethane foam discs on given 7 spots. It is based on the traditional Japanese game of Tosenkyo. As the foam discs used in the theme were irregular and non-uniform, this theme emphasised solving real life problems using robotic solutions.
Innovations that were brought about in robot model this year:
• Use of rotary encoders for speed control using feedback,
• Fabrication and interfacing of encoder setup locally using slotted disc and IR sensors,
• Use of belt drive for motion transmission at high rpm,
• Machining of most components done locally in college workshop by students,

The team from GECA, entering its 7th year of formation, was rechristened as 'TEAM CYBROTICS' this year. With a new name and the old expertise and enthusiasm, the team this year consisted of: Ashher Mirza (Team Captain), Abhishek Sakharkar (Manual Bot Operator), Nikhil Ekbote, Dhananjay Kulkarni, Sanjay Hiwrale, Akshay Kale, Aishwarya Wagh, Vishakha Kate, Utkarsh Dange, Utkars h Kolte, Prayush Kale, Tanmay Chaudhary, Saurabh Satpute, Archit Wadalkar, Pritam Anap, Divyansh Gautam, Swapnil Pimple, Pratiksha Hivrale, Aditya Mahamuni, Angha Deo, Sangharsh Bhawar & Vaijesh Kotwal. The National Contest was held from 2nd March to 4th March, 2017 at Balewadi Stadium, Pune. The team won both its initial matches and were group toppers in the league stage. For ABU Robocon 2016, the theme released was 'Clean Energy: Recharging the World'. Two bots, one without an actuator to drive, were made.
Various newer elements like Electric Ducted Fans, Pneumatic circuits, Timing Belts and Pulleys were used in making the bots. Extensive research was also carried out in the field of Digital Image Processing. For propulsion of the bot without the driving actuator, permanent Neodymium magnets were used, which proved to be the unique stand out feature of the bot.

The national event of ABU Robocon was held from 3rd to 5th March, 2016 in Balewadi, Pune where about 105 teams from various institutes participate. Team GECA, banking on its accuracy, cleared the League Stage with flying colours. In the Super-League stage, even though matched against a tough opponent, the team won some close contests to qualify for the Quarterfinals. However, some technical glitches in the quarterfinal led to loss of crucial time and the team faced a loss in the knockout contest.
Overall, team GECA was ranked 8th all over India. Additionally, in recognition of the unique design of the bot, team GECA won the ‘Best Innovative Design Award’.

The theme for year 2015 was given by ABU Robocon, Yogyakarta-Indonesia. The theme was named as "Robominton". For this theme, the contesting teams have to build two robots, either manual or automatic, whose task was to play badminton according to the rules assigned by the rulebook. Our team stood as AIR 19 at national level competition.

The theme for year 2014 was given by ABU Robocon, Pune-India. The theme was named as "A salute for parenthood". For this theme, the contesting teams have to build two robots,one manual and one automatic, out of which one was to act as parent and another one as child. Our team build two robots as per required by theme and competed with other teams at national level.

The theme for year 2013 was given by ABU Robocon, Da Nang-Vietnam. The theme was named as "The Green planet". For this theme, the contesting teams have to build two robots,one manual and one automatic and complete the theme tasks. Our team build two robots as per required by theme and competed at national level competition.

The theme for year 2012 was given by ABU Robocon, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The theme named as "Peng on Dai Gat". For this theme, the contesting teams have to build two robots, one manual and one automatic, whose task was to snatch buns kept on bun tower and putting it in target basket as per the rules given in theme. Our team build two robots as per required by theme and competed at national level competition.

The theme for year 2010 was given by ABU Robocon, Cairo-Egypt. The theme was named as "Robo-Pharaohs built Pyramids". For this theme, the contesting teams have to build maximum four robots, one manual and other automatic, whose task was to complete the three incomplete pyramids by placing the missing parts at its corresponding place. Our teamstood as AIR 5 at national level competition. For our excellent start, we also received the "BEST ROOKIE AWARD".
